HALIFAX HERITAGE LUNCH CLUB LAUNCH NEWSLETTER

A message from the Halifax Heritage Lunch Club

One of the results of the lockdowns caused by the Covid19 pandemic has been the inability to run the Heritage Lunch Clubs over the last year.  They had become an important community resource in the fight against the isolation of the more vulnerable members of our area.

The organisers of the club felt that we still needed a way to reach out to those people at whom the club was targeted.  One of the ways will be to produce a monthly newsletter, based around a theme still connected with the heritage of our club.

The first of these can be seen below.  All those regulars for whom we have an e-mail address will be sent a digital copy, as will all the members of the Past Player Association for whom Mike Sheldrake has an e-mail address.  Those attendees to the Lunch Clubs who haven’t an e-mail will be posted a hard copy if we have their postal address.

We felt that even more than before the need to reach out to those members of our community who are at risk from these issues is paramount, and we hope that the monthly newsletters will help in that regard.
