The safety and comfort of our disabled supporters is paramount to the Club.
We have 2 designated wheelchair disabled seating areas in the comfort of our East Stand with carer seats next to each wheelchair space; one from the top floor gantry, the other on the first floor balcony area. Both areas are accessible from the main reception where the lift is situated. There is a dedicated Steward in these areas that can help with any requirements you may have.
You can pre book your wheelchair spaces by calling the Club offices on 01422 342792. Tickets can be paid for by credit card in advance or cash on the day and tickets can either be emailed to you or collected from the Ticket Office at main reception.
Please note that disabled car parking can be booked in advance, but is still first come first served after a certain point. All supporters are encouraged to get to the Stadium as early as possible, to secure your space and a small £5 charge is in place for the main car park.
For all complimentary carer’s tickets, please come to the ticket office in the East Stand Main Reception. From there, you can choose to be taken to an allocated spot and will be able to use our stadium lift to get around the East Stand.
Please note that all hospitality areas within the East Stand are accessible to disabled supporters and accessible toilets are available on each floor.
Commentary for the blind
We try to give every one of our supporters the best experience we can, and cater for all needs. The Shay Stadium provides Halifax Panthers with special equipment, meaning we can be the only Club in Championship with free of charge blind commentary headsets.
To arrange for a headset, please call the Club before a matchday on 01422 342 792, or see a member of Senior Council staff in the ticket office on Matchdays.
