The Supporters Trust
A Message From Our Chair – David Durbin
Firstly on behalf of your Supporters Trust Board, I would like to thank you all for your support over last year. Your generosity has been exceptional and I hope we can count on it going into the new season.
Your memberships, attending our events, entering the meal deal, joining Steve’s fantasy league have all played a vital part in our fundraising. At the start of the new season we will again be selling vintage/retro shirts at home on match days and doing our bucket collections. This is of course providing the current Covid crisis is under control and we can meet all the health and safety requirements.
We have been busy as always during this lockdown in developing a new website which is nearly complete and producing the goods you will have seen advertised on Facebook. All the funds raised will as always be used to support the club.
As we head into the new season it’s time to get behind the Board,Simon and the team.We have made some excellent signings which bodes well.I’m sure like me you are all missing our great game and when we do get going again don’t forget to bring down a friend and let’s all have a big push to increase our fan base.
Don’t forget we are the 18th man,the Blue and White Army and that can make all the difference!
The future’s bright it’s BLUE AND WHITE!!
A Message From The Treasurer – Maureen Booth
The Trust are proud to continue its support of the Club and would like to thank all our fans for their support .The sale of the retro/ vintage shirts last year was particularly successful all raising a substantial amount for the Club.
Once again we were indebted to Peter McNamara for his on-going support last year of our Quiz Nights and the Fun Day at the Ivy House, and likewise to Neil Arber for his continuing contributions from his Away Coach Travel and Club 1873. Thanks also to Stephen Thomas for continuing his Fantasy RL, all who helped on the Market Stall, and not forgetting the generous donations given by supporters. We must also thank Hilda’s Every Penny Counts as this not only contributes funds but also adds a valuable recycling opportunity for all.
Not to be forgotten are our loyal fans, who regularly chip into our Blue Buckets on match days and contribute in many other ways, including monthly Membership payments of varying amounts.
