Dave Grayson: Managing Director

As a Fax fan since 1967 to currently being the Managing Director for the Club, is a huge privilege and honour.

A former Boothtown J&I; Lee Mount J&I and Heath Grammar School scholar, the Halifax educational system has given me high standard core values that I have carried with me throughout my life.

Coming from a sports background, I was fortunate enough to represent my school at rugby and then join the associated adult Rugby Union Club, Heath RUFC, and play in all the open age teams there and also be selected for Calderdale.

During that time I have played, coached and been a Committee Member and Chairman over a 30+ year active association with Heath. I am a ‘mere’ member now but it has been great to have seen the Club go from strength to strength over many decades. That is exactly what I am hoping to see at Halifax Panthers.

I have also coached football at Junior level (Northowram) and been Head Coach for Wibsey Rugby Union and found friends for life at all these Clubs-as I have found at Halifax Panthers.

Professionally I have been in management since my early 20’s and during that time have had, and still have, my own business; been a Director of other businesses and now find myself still as busy as ever –even though I am supposed to be semi-retired!

At Halifax RLFC I have been a volunteer on both the Supporters Trust Board, The Halifax RLFC Foundation Trustee Board and of course worked on two different Fiduciary Boards at the Club.

My values are prioritised by family, friends, good health, music and of course sport.
