VOLUNTEER ‘SCOTTISH PETE’ SADLY PASSES AWAY


Scottish Pete  –  It is with sadness that we announce the passing of one of our oldest supporters and volunteers Pete Smith, who would have been 90 in June.

Pete, along with his late wife Alice, started at the Taverners Club at Thrum Hall over 20 years ago but was more well known as Neil Arber’s assistant on the supporters away coaches and in the Shay Lounge on match days.

Neil Arber said “We had some great times travelling to matches on the coach especially Whitehaven and he will be missed.”

Our condolences go out to Pete’s family and friends none more so than Neil at this sad time. He will be sadly missed.
