UPDATE FROM THE TRAINING GROUND

SIMON GRIX GIVES THE PANTHERS FANS AN UPDATE FROM THE TRAINING GROUND

Firstly the Panthers are pleased to announce ZERO positive tests amongst all playing and non-playing staff since the club returned to training.

After missing Tuesday nights training due to the snow, the Panthers returned last night and Simon Grix gave an update from Calderdale College into how preparations are going as the Betfred Championship clubs begin phase 2 of return to training,

‘We have just moved in to Stage 2 training protocols so we are free to resume contact training.”

“We really want and need to get back to opposed sessions and wrestling but we must continue to minimise the risks the best we can, by controlling what we can,  continuing to make the most of the the time we have.”

The return of Rugby League and the Halifax Panthers is due to commence on the weekend of March 21st with the Challenge Cup first round set to take place, with the draw for the cup due to be made on Thursday February 11th.

Thank you for your continued support.
