ROBINSON HAPPY TO BE BACK

ROBINSON HAPPY TO BE BACK BUT PANTHERS MUST IMPROVE AHEAD OF BULLDOGS CLASH

Panthers number 7 Connor Robinson made his second debut for the club yesterday and impressed along side his new half-back partner Liam Harris in the hard fought pre-season victory over Oldham at Bower Fold.

Connor, whilst happy to be back out there and back in action as a Panthers player was clear he thinks there is plenty for the team and himself to work on and improve ahead of next Saturdays Challenge Cup tie against Batley Bulldogs.

Robinson had this to say after Saturdays encounter,

“Think the game will help us after looking good in the session against Huddersfield.”

“It’s brought us back down to earth, proved you have to earn the right to play and have to do the hard stuff first.”

“Plenty to improve on in all areas myself included but after a year of nothing I’ll take scoring 30 points, big week coming up now heading into batley.”

You can next catch #CR7 in action on Saturday for Challenge Cup round 1 at the Shay Stadium.

The game will be streamed live on OuRLeague and will be free for Panthers season ticket holders and £4.95 for non season ticket holders (£10 on day of game).
