NEW PARTNERSHIP | ELLGREN IS BACK

ELLGREN IS BACK

Halifax RLFC are delighted to announce Ellgren as our new technical partner for the 2021 season.

Under the agreement, Ellgren will supply all of the Club’s playing and training apparel as well as producing a new range of products for our retail operation.

Ellgren are specialists in bespoke sportswear with over 30 years experience of designing and manufacturing in the sports & team-wear market and boast a rich rugby league heritage, producing some iconic designs which are still fondly remembered to this day. Recently re-launched, the brand has ambitious plans and they see Halifax as central to their growth and development.

Halifax last showcased the famous Ellgren brand back in the 1990/91 season with a squad that include superstars such as Brendan Hill and Greg Austin to name just a few.

Halifax Media & Marketing Director Lee Kenny was excited to confirm the partnership with Ellgren,

“We are thrilled to be working with Ellgren as it personifies where Halifax RLFC are right now. A club with real heritage and a burning desire to embrace the modern game with excitement at the prospects for our future.”

Ellgren Managing Director Jonathon Schofield on the new partnership,

“Ellgren are delighted to have agreed a kit and apparel partnership with Halifax RLFC for 2021 and onwards. Like Ellgren, Halifax RLFC are a prestigious name within Rugby League and have a rich history within the sport and will be a great addition to our growing portfolio of clubs.”

“It has been a pleasure working with the club to produce a fantastic, high quality range of products that we are excited to put to the Halifax players, staff and supporters”.

Halifax Head Coach Simon Grix on the return of Ellgren,

“Ellgren is a brand synonymous with rugby league and we are pleased to be a part of its resurgence.  Both the training and leisure wear look very nice and the samples we have had are top quality, I am sure fans won’t be disappointed with a  range for all ages.  It will be nice to see our colours around town again.”

“It’s probably a bit silly, but every year the lads look forward to picking up their gear and i’d guess even more so this time as we resume our identity after such a lay off.”
