MAHER JOINS RAMS ON SHORT TERM LOAN

Halifax Panthers can confirm that forward Will Maher has joined League 1 outfit Dewsbury Rams on an initial 2 week loan deal.
 
27 year old Maher, a close season signing from Super League side Hull Kingston Rovers, has made 8 first team appearances for Fax so far in the 2023 Betfred Championship season.
 
But the towering prop has found his opportunities limited in recent times, and will link up with Liam Finn’s men in an attempt to regain some form for the Panthers run in.
 
Fax head coach Simon Grix commented: “Will is gonna go and get a couple of games under his belt and work on some things to give himself the best chance of getting back in our team.  Dewsbury are going well in League 1 and have some important games coming up so it is good timing for both parties.”
