MAHER JOINS COUGARS ON SEASON LONG LOAN

Halifax Panthers can confirm that Will Maher has joined League One outfit Keighley Cougars on a season long loan. The 27 year old prop signed a two year contract with the club ahead of the 2023 Betfred Championship season, but has found a starting spot hard to come by at The Shay.

Despite being one of our main off season signings from Super League side Hull Kingston Rovers, Maher spent time at League One champions Dewsbury Rams under new Fax head coach Liam Finn in 2023.

We’d like to wish Will all the best for the season ahead with Keighley and thank him for his efforts in blue and white.
