Halifax Panthers are looking for two enthusiastic and energic individuals to become our official club mascots Paddy & Pippa. As our mascots, you’ll be tasked with bringing the energy on game days, lifting the atmosphere and entertaining the masses at matches and club events

Hours: Matchdays & Events (Casual)

Overview: As the Official Club Mascot for Halifax Panthers RLFC, you’ll be the heart of fan engagement and club representation during match days and events. Your role is pivotal in creating a lively, entertaining atmosphere, embodying the spirit of the club, and ensuring a memorable experience for supporters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform energetically at home matches, community events, and promotional activities.
  • Engage with and entertain fans of all ages, promoting a positive and family-friendly atmosphere.
  • Showcase dance and performance routines to energize the crowd.
  • Uphold the club’s values and ethos, serving as a professional and positive ambassador.
  • Interact proactively with supporters, including posing for photographs and signing autographs.
  • Adhere to club policies, health and safety procedures, and safeguarding policies.

General Requirements:

  • Enthusiastic and outgoing personality, with a flair for engaging diverse audiences.
  • Experience in performance, entertainment, or related roles preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to high-energy environments and manage the physical demands of wearing a mascot suit.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and school holidays.

  • Must complete safeguarding and DBS checks.


  • Demonstrated ability to perform energetic dance routines and engage in lively movements.
  • Professional conduct and reliability in performance or entertainment-inspired roles.
