JAMES SALTONSTALL LOOKS AHEAD TO DERBY DAY

Halifax born James Saltonstall is well aware of what the derby means to the supporters of the club and the Fax winger has been involved in no fewer than 12 West Yorkshire derby’s between Halifax and Bradford since joining the club in 2015.

We spoke to “Salty” as the game edges ever closer and excitement builds around the town, 

“Nothing better than a derby game against the Bulls. It’s a game we always look for when the fixtures come out. Gutted the fans can’t be there for this one but we know you will all be watching and cheering us on at home.” 

“It’s always a tough game against the Bulls and recent results mean nothing in a derby. Hopefully we can kick on from our win against London and get another victory against Bradford.”
