GR1X TESTIMONIAL MATCH

The Scott Grix Testimonial game, the final event of the year for the recently retired Halifax stalwart’s testimonial year, has just been announced.

Grix was awarded a testimonial year by the RFL for his services and dedication to the sport over the years, and will bring the curtain down on a fundraising year with a special match against one of his former clubs, Wakefield Trinity.

The game will take place at The Shay Stadium on Sunday 16th January with a 3pm kick off. This will be our second pre season friendly ahead of the 2022 Betfred Championship season as brother Simon’s new look side will get an early chance to impress fans following a bumper off season of signings and retentions.

Special Early Bird tickets are available until Tuesday 4th January with prices as follows:

Adult £15
Concession (Over 65’s) & Young Adult (Aged 16-24) £10

Prices on Matchday will rise to £20 Adults, £15 Concessions and Young Adults. All Juniors (Under 16s) will be admitted for £1 on the day. Tickets purchased can be used for entry to either Stand on the matchday.

All monies are collected on behalf of the Testimonial Committee.
