CLUB UPDATE – NEIL ARBER RETIRES AS AWAY TRAVEL MANAGER

After more than 40 years of voluntary service to the club including varying roles in that time Neil Arber is retiring from his role of Away Travel manager at the end of the season after more than 20 years arranging supporters travel.
Neil has over the years done many other jobs for the Club including groundsman and helping run the Taverners Club along with secretary and treasurer of the Players Association plus many other roles and raised thousands of pounds for the Club. He will however continue to run the successful Club 1873 which was a successor of the Taverners Membership Club at Thrum Hall

On behalf of the Board, I’d like to thank Neil for his 40+ years of service and dedication to the club in his many voluntary roles. His retirement is the end of an era. “Neil’s Fun Bus” has helped the Fax Faithful follow the boys wherever they’ve travelled for over 20 years as the away travel manager. Please join us, from the board and fans alike, in wishing Neil all the best in his retirement.
All the best, Neil.
