CLUB UPDATE | COMMERCIAL APPOINTMENT

The Board of Directors at Halifax Panthers are delighted to announce the appointment of John Whitham as Sales Development Executive working as part of the Commercial team at the Panthers. He will work closely with Peter McNamara and myself to grow and develop our established portfolio of loyal and supportive Commercial partners, helping us to meet our ambitious targets and ambitions.

John is a recently retired licensee after selling both the Stump Cross Inn and Maypole Inn, having previously owned the original Maggies in the town centre, Warehouse 1204 restaurant in Sowerby Bridge and his first pub Siddal Place where his Rugby League sponsorship began with Siddal ARLFC. John played and coached at both Ovenden and Siddal where his long-standing passion for both the amateur and professional game began and still exists today.

A regular visitor to the Shay, John will work on a part time basis using his knowledge, contacts and undoubted enthusiasm to make a huge difference to the Panthers. He is excited about joining The Panthers at a very exciting time and we are delighted to welcome him into the team.
