BRAD KNOWLES HE’S A PANTHER

Halifax Panthers are delighted to announce the signing of Brad Knowles from Sheffield Eagles for the 2022 season.

Brad becomes Simon Grix’s third new recruit ahead of the 2022 campaign after the recent announcements of Joe Keyes & Lachlan Walmsley.

“I’m really happy to have signed at Halifax and I’m looking forward to linking up with lads”, said Knowles. “I’ll do my best to add something to an already strong squad, some great additions been added so far and I can’t wait to compete for my spot.”

The big-hitting 28 year old brings plenty of top-end Championship experience having played over 120 games for Featherstone Rovers and the Eagles where he won the inaugural 1895 Cup in 2019 at Wembley.

Known throughout the League as an enforcer, Knowles can play in a variety of positions and will bring some extra bite to the Panthers’ pack.

Head coach Simon Grix was more than happy with his latest addition.

“Brad is a seasoned Championship player and known for his aggressive approach to his role. He enjoys the physical battles the game brings and will add something a bit different to our stock of middle players. I must say I admire his desire to come and challenge himself where he could have been comfortable elsewhere.”
