“At this pivotal moment for the Panthers, as we strive to expand our commercial horizons and strengthen our club’s presence both on and off the field, Rachel’s strategic insight and innovative thinking are exactly what we need. Her role will be critical in identifying new commercial opportunities, enhancing our engagement with fans and stakeholders, and fostering a culture of excellence and ambition.”

“Rachel’s joining is a bridge between the proud history of Halifax Panthers and our aspirations for the future. Her family ties with the club adds a rich layer to her appointment, symbolising a continuity of passion and excellence that spans generations.”

“I warmly welcome Rachel to the Halifax Panthers family. I am confident that her contributions will lead us to new heights of success and recognition. Together, we look forward to embarking on this exciting journey, fuelled by our shared commitment to excellence and being ‘Best in Class’.”

Rachel speaking on her new role: “I’m delighted to be joining the Panthers at such an exciting time as the club strives for Super League status over the next few years. Being Halifax-born and bred and having watched the Panthers from a young age, I’m hoping my passion and commitment will help the club go from strength to strength. It seems a fitting time for me to join the club and I’m sure my Dad would be extremely proud that I’m taking on this role at the Panthers.”

With this new appointment, the board bids a fond farewell to long-serving Commercial Director Steve Lambert and Pete McNamara, who have been terrific servants to the club and will be fondly remembered by many of our commercial partners, both past and present. Thank you both for your invaluable efforts over the years.
